THE CREEK is a multitower development on the South East False Creek, neighbouring the Olympic Village, near Science World. VODA and NAVIO were both designed in collaboration with Richard Henry Architects for CONCERT PROPERTIES.

VODA is Building 2 of the Creek development. VODA is a 16-storey contemporary industrial loft form residential building, with 174 units. Numerous design elements make reference to some of the industrial use of the area in its previous incarnation. Then, in contrast to the industrial feel, playful “lightbox” elements show up randomly along Quebec Street and are also used to demarcate the street entrances to the grade level units around the base of the project. These elements are evenly lit so that at night they will glow softly becoming porch-light beacons for those units.

NAVIO is Buildings 3 & 4 of The Creek. NAVIO NORTH and NAVIO SOUTH are two simple and elegant 14- and 12-storey luxury residential towers facing the new East Park, totaling 177 units. NAVIO was designed as two “sibling” forms, with general sweeping balconies and façade expressions keeping with the nautical metaphor objective, referencing the sweeping forms of an ocean liner superstructure and its hull.
